VIDEO TRYOUT INFO

You think you might be ABSENT when golf tryouts begin? NO PROBLEM.

In the event of an absense, such as Covid-related absence, being quarantined during tryouts, or simply sick, we would still like you to have an opportunity to become a member of the team. Trying to stay one-step ahead of issues takes a lot of work (and luck) so having a plan in place with everyone on the same page goes along way. So we are encouraging everyone interested in making the team to take 6 short videos using their cell phones demonstrating their golf swing using 3 different clubs from 2 angles (for a total of 6 short videos). These will can then be uploaded by the student for the coaches to view in the event of an unforseen issue.   Specifically, the student will hit with his DRIVER, 7-iron, and Putter. The 2 angles for each club will be from the side facing the golfer and the other directly behind the golfer down the target-line. (see example below) 

Upload your video to your google folder and then share it with:

mtyler@Lindberghschools.ws  AND kevinratliff@Lindberghschools.ws

Don't email it directly to us but SHARE all 6 short videos from your own GOOGLE FOLDER. 

Do this as soon as possible and especially if there is a break in the weather. You never know if you will be ill or simply absent for any reason, so delaying this opportunity could result in missing a chance. This will be used as a "just-in-case" since there is no substitute for evaluating players in-person.
